From the latest Tropical Social Club board meeting comes the following announcement concerning next Wednesday evening:

This month at the Tropical Social we’ve got special guests Brut 33 of Paradise Lost and Matt ‘the Eagleman’ Westhoff coming down. Whether it be over the airwaves of our private radio stations, or at all night warehouse parties around the inner city, both these guys have been putting in much time over the years in the trenches of Sydney’s underground funk, soul, house and disco scenes. Come down and join us Wednesday the 18th. Steele will also be playing records and keeping things tropical as usual. Should be a good one!

Sydney’s one and only monthly record club is back in 2009 with special guests Jimmy Sing and Hana Shimada of Good God dropping in to play some jams alongside host Steele Bonus. This all takes place on Wednesday January 21 at the Dug Out Bar- 2 Oxford St. Darlinghurst (beneath the Burdekin). From 9 till 2 and entry is F R E E !
